Evony Secret to Rich Resource

My strategy is to make only one type of resource, and make it very very well, and trade in the market for all other resources, including gold.

First, follow the quests as far as they go for improving fields, because that is easy money, at first.

Second, Build at least a level 3 market.

3rd Get a feasting hall and an inn. The goal with these is to get a hero with level 60 or above politics. Refresh the hero in in the inn as much as you can to try to get one. If that does not work, when feasible, you can hire a hero and fire them to get refreshes at the inn. Just get a lvl 60 politics hero. Improves production.

4th Build lumber mills, nothing but lumber mills. Build one after another. Do not waste time building quarries or farms or iron mines. You will see why in a moment.

5th Do research on wood production (milling). Research one after another. Do NOT research quarrying, mining, farming.

6th When you have armies, take over as high level forests as you can in your area. Do not take over grasslands, swamps, whatever.

Trade lumber for other resources.

By doing this, you save 3/4ths of the money you would have spent on researching/enhancing other production.
