Three Kingdoms Online Heroes Guide

Three Kingdoms Online Heroes Guide

* Heroes are an integral part of your army. Without them any military function must be substituted with a messanger.

* Heroes can be found in the Career Center. Two heroes will refresh every 24 hours. If you chose to use 1 gold you can refresh 4 normal heroes. If you chose to do an epic hero refresh, then it costs more gold (10 or 50).

* Epic heroes can be acquired this way, by defeating an army at a historical city, or defeating the escort guardian as a rare drop. Historical cities are red dots on the radar in the map function.

* Normal heroes' combined stats are usually 120 or less. There are some that are above 100 (more frequent with a level 10 Career Center). Epic heroes' stats are not above 120 as level 1. It is possible to find level 100 Epic heroes, but it costs gold and they will leave after a month (if fled) if you do not pay it(20 gold for 1 star heroes).

* All normal heroes stats at level 100 cap at 65.

* Heroes can be leveled up when they meet their experience goal. For the first three levels you are given free pancaea. Pancaea allows you to distribute 1 unassigned attribute point randomly to your hero. After level 3 you must pay 3 gold to use pancaea or you can loot a preserving bolus in the tower of trials. A preserving bolus does the same function as pancaea.

* Heroes can equip weapons, armor, items, scrolls, and abilities to help them in politics, duels, and military affairs.

CAV heros

INF (spd 10) and CAV (spd 20) heroes have different moving speeds. Infantry heroes will cause cavalry to move slower. Try to pair INF heroes with infantry and CAV heroes with cavalry.

* To obtain more than two normal heroes, upgrade your career center to level 10 or level 20. You can also create a new city with another career center.

* Remember, you can have an infinite number of epic heroes.

# Warning: It it rumored that if you send a hero out to battle with less than 20 stamina that hero will ALWAYS flee. Make sure to check your heroes stamina before sending them to battle.

Hero Screen
* To access your hero, look at the top right hand side of your screen; next to your portrait. There are several small icons. The first icon is the hero icon. Click it.
* Assigned Status Points: Points that are randomly assigned using pancaea or preserving bolus.
* Unassigned Status Points: Points that were not assigned during the leveling process. They can be assigned using pancaea or the preserving bolus.

Hero Attributes

Strength: This value represents hero's combat ability when leading soldiers in battle. Initial Atk. and Def. for all heroes is 100. Strength is then added to hero's initial Att. and Def. to form the final value.

Example: Hero strength: 20, Att: 120, Def: 120

Leadership: Affects the army's attack and defense when the hero leads army to battle. This raises the attack and defense by 0.2% for every point of Leadership. If multiple heroes were involved in the same battle, the hero with the highest Leadership takes effect.

Intellect: Intellect affects the hero's ability to use scrollpurse (yin/yang).

Politics: Politics affects the resource output of a city. It is only effective when the hero is the governor of a city. Each city may only have one Governor. For every point of Politics, the governor can increase resource output by 0.2%

o The heroes’ speed depends on their type. Speed of Infantry heroes is 10, that of Cavalry heroes is 20.

Duel Attributes

Increased with equipment

Armor: Affects hero defense percentage, 1000 armor = 10% damage reduction. *This involves a diminishing returns formula and 1000 = 10% is not completely accurate.*

Hero Activities

o Experience:There are several ways to gain experience with your hero.

+ Send the hero to a faction camp to duel an enemy officer. To access the faction camp, go to the faction map (this is on the left hand side of the screen when in resource or city mode). Click on a city name and then click on one of the officers on a horse. They scale up in level from top to bottom and to duel the general it costs gold.
+ Send the hero to do a faction quest. Some faction quest (under Quest--->Faction Quests) give hero experience.
+ Attack the Escort Guardian. The Escort Guardian(s) appears randomly on the faction map in one of the cities. He is represented by a blue standing army. If the soldiers are dead and scattered, then someone has already defeated them.

o Items, Abilities , Equipment, and Skills: These can be acquired though any type of military action. If an item is bound, you cannot send it as a gift to another player.

o Equipment Levels

+ Gray is below average
+ Green is average
+ Blue is above average
+ Purple is elite
+ and I haven't seen Orange in this game, but it is in others and I consider it Epic/Legendary.

o Skills: To use the skills from the skillsbook, the hero must first have the skill bar "unlocked". This is done though the various types of bolus and can be obtained from quests or bought with gold.

o Abilities: Abilities can be added to the ability bar without unlocking. However, once an ability is removed from the bar, it is destroyed and not recovered.

Equipment

o Every hero can wear equipment. Equipment can be viewed under the equipment tab when in the hero screen.
o There are several different types of equipment: Helm, Chest, Weapon, Boots, Scrollpurse (the yin/yang symbol), Chestmirror, Gloves, and Horse.
o Each of these equipments have stats and abilities that some with them. If you scroll over them it gives a partial description.

Governor

o To appoint a hero as a governor, click on the Governor's House and click on the button that says "appoint".
o Chose a hero to appoint as governor.
o Heroes that are appointed as governor will affect the output of your resources of that city.
o Politics and equipped items affect the percent of output.

Position

o At the top of the heroes profile there are two red words: Profile and Position.
o Profile is the first screen that you view for all of your heroly things.
o Position is used to appoint your hero to a rank that increases the hero's stats.
o A hero may be placed into a position after the user/player (you) have attained a nobility title.

Exile

o Heroes that are in exile may be called back by using the call back function in the career center.
o If you do not have enough resources to do a normal call back, then only the fast call back (gold) and exile will appear. So make sure you have enough resources to call back. forum.koramgame.com
