A good strategy to start with is to upgrade your resource fields. The game starts at your resource fields. To get back to this page click on the button at the top that says Resource.

Farmland
Farmland produces Food. The higher the level of your farmland is, the more Food you will produce in an hour. This also increases your total population. If your actual population (citizens + troops) exceeds your total population you will have a negative food output.

Stone Mine
Stone Mine produces Stone. The higher the level of your Stone Mine is, the more Stone you will produce in an hour.

Timberland
Timberland produces Wood. The higher the level of your Timberland is, the more Wood you will produce in an hour.

Iron Mine
Iron Mine produces Iron. The higher the level of your Iron Mine is, the more Iron you will produce in an hour.
