Children`s week WoW Oracles quest chain

Children`s week WoW Oracles quest chain:

- Quest:Little Orphan Roo Of The Oracles

Speak to Orphan Matron Aria in Dalaran, then use the Oracle Orphan Whistle to call the orphan you will be taking care of during Children's Week.

The orphans have been looking forward to the opportunity to meet friends like you, . It's wonderful that you've agreed to take one into your care.

Take this whistle. With it, you will be able to call for the orphan you have agreed to sponsor. It will only last for a limited time - not much longer than Children's Week itself, in fact.

Please, , call upon your orphan. He will be excited to meet you and see the sites of Northrend with you.

You take us away from puppy-men hatchlings? Good. We like you already. Mean puppy-men hatchlings took all our favorite toys away.

Accept the quest, then speak to Aria again to complete the quest.

The Lich King's cruel reign has inflicted great suffering on all of Northrend's inhabitants, particularly the children. If you are friend to the Oracles or Frenzyheart Tribe of Sholazar, perhaps you might consider caring for an orphan for a week.

File:GossipGossipIcon.png Ask about the orphans.

The orphans we have taken in come from war torn Sholazar Basin. You can choose to care for either an orphaned Oracle hatchling or a Frenzyheart pup. Either will be happy to make a new friend, but you will only be able to care for one of them.

- Quest:The Biggest Tree Ever!

Take your orphan, Roo, to visit Grizzlemaw in Grizzly Hills. Make sure to call for him if he is not present when you enter the trunk of the great tree.

* Roo taken to visit Grizzlemaw

Before there was a big war and we left the village, we remember Soo-say telling us all about the biggest tree ever!

Soo-say call it Grizzlemaw or something. Soo-say tell us it in the middle Grizzle Hills. No, wait, that not what Soo-say say. Soo-say say Grizzly Hills. Now we remember! Tree is big and right in middle of Grizzly Hills. Can't miss!

You take us there, oki? We see inside of giant tree? Soo-say tell us big bear men live in tree too. Maybe we see them.

We never knew trees got that big! Nope. Maybe Great Ones had special plan for it?

Fly to the southern entrance of Grizzlemaw, call Roo, then walk along the ground to the interior.

It will probably be necessary to kill some nearby Redfang to have enough room to walk in.

- Quest:The Bronze Dragonshrine (Oracles)

Take your orphan, Roo, to visit the Bronze Dragonshrine in Dragonblight. Make sure to call for him if he is not present when you get there.

* Roo taken to visit Bronze Dragonshrine

Sometimes High-Oracle Soo-say tell stories about a shrine to dragon-things, not like great rain stone, but different. Soo-say tell us maybe we see ourselves there, but not like in a shiny. Soo-say mean we could see what we are like many years from now.

You take us there? We remember shrine to bronze dragon-things in place called Dragonblight. Soo-say say great rain stone show him shrine to northeast of Wyrmrest Temple, or northwest of place dryskins call Wintergarde Keep. We go?

We very glad you brought us here, . We always worried what would happen when the orphan matron found us in Sholazar.

Fly to the steps at the southwestern end of the shrine, call Roo, then walk down the steps towards the shrine proper.

Oracle Orphan says: Look! Is that us? We think it's us. A bit older, maybe?
High-Oracle Soo-roo says: We remember this visit, yes we do. Never forget what you learn from your new friend, little Roo. You got great future ahead.
Oracle Orphan says: Looks like we blessed by Great ones! Shrines give magic, make us high-oracle someday? Maybe?

- Quest:Playmates! (Oracles)

Take your orphan, Roo, to visit Winterfin Retreat in Borean Tundra. Make sure to call for him if he is not present when you get there.

* Roo taken to visit Winterfin Retreat

Orphanage gets real lonely, you know? Sometimes we want to go places, meet new friends.

Maybe you can take us somewheres with other hatchlings? We heard about a place called Winterfin Retreat, in the big Borean Tundra. We think it's way in the northwest, near the edge of the Coldarra-island.

The orphan lady say someone brave save a bunch of hatchlings there. We think they lonely, too. We think they need friends. You take us there?

Fly down to the Winterfin Retreat. Land somewhere near King Mrgl-Mrgl and summon Roo if he's not already out. Then watch the script event:

Winterfin Playmate says: Wanna see what I can do?
Oracle Orphan says: Look!
Winterfin Playmate says: Now dance together!
Oracle Orphan says: We can dance too!
Oracle Orphan says: We made a new friend!

- Quest:Meeting a Great One

Take your orphan, Roo, to visit the Etymidian at the Shaper's Terrace in Sholazar Basin. Make sure to call for him if he is not present when you get there.

* Roo taken to visit The Etymidian

High-Oracle Soo-say always tell us about how Great Ones built shrines and we give them shinies, but he never see Great Ones. No one see Great Ones, but maybe you know how to find one?

Soo-say told us the Great Ones made a waygate and put it in the center of the southern part of Sholazar. Soo-say not say where it goes, but maybe it take us to a Great One! Take us through that waygate and let's find out, .

We got to meet a Great One! Too bad it was during his nap time, but we understand. We like naps, too! Maybe we learn naps from Great Ones like we learn about shrines and shinies!

Can we come back and visit the Great One again when not sleeping?

Fly through the Waygate in Sholazar Basin to reach the Shaper's Terrace in Un'Goro Crater. Summon Roo on the Un'Goro side then run up the stairs to The Etymidian.

Oracle Orphan says: Wow! A real Great One? We don't even think Soo-say has met a real Great One!
Oracle Oprhan says: Um, hello, Mr. Great One. We are honored to meet you.
Oracle Orphan says: Maybe you're asleep, Mr. Great one? We understand. Must be hard working being Great One, collecting all the shinies we leave for you.
Oracle Orphan says: We brought you a gift, Great One. Maybe you see it when you wake up. Maybe you remember we came to see you, oki?
The orphan places a small crystal supported by a tripod near the Etyidian's feet.

Note that while Powering the Waygate - The Maker's Overlook, which normally must be completed before the waygate becomes usable, requires level 77, it seems that being on this quest allows use of the waygate regardless of other conditions. Thus, characters lower than 77 can complete this quest relatively easily. Completion of the quest deactivates the waygate in Sholazar Basin, but the return gate in Un'Goro works even then.

- Quest:The Dragon Queen (Oracles)

Take your orphan, Roo, to visit Alexstrasza the Life-Binder at the top of Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight. Make sure to call for him if he is not present when you get there.

* Roo taken to visit Alexstrasza the Life-Binder

One of High-Oracle Soo-say's stories says Great Ones made all the dragons and a queen for the dragons, too. We want to see her! Would you take us to the top of Wyrmrest Temple?

We remember Soo-say telling us the temple-thing was in the middle of Dragonblight. We really want to meet dragon queen. She must be so big and pretty. Maybe she help us find new parents.

You take us?

Do you think she ever saw an oracle before? We might be the first one to ever meet her! We thinks she liked us, but we're not sure. She doesn't talk a lot. Nope. But that was fun!

Oracle Orphan says: So that's the queen of the dragons? Hmm... we thought she'd be bigger. Yes we did.
Oracle Orphan says: How come she doesn't look like the other dragons? Could she turn into a big ol' dragon if she wanted to?
Oracle Orphan says: Um... Your Majesty, would you turn into a dragon for us?
Alextrasza kneels down to talk to Roo
Alextrasza the Life-Binder says: If I was in my dragon form, there wouldn't be room for anyone else, little one.
Oracle Orphan says: Oki... How about now?

- Quest:A Trip To The Wonderworks

Purchase a Small Paper Zeppelin at the Wonderworks in Dalaran. and then throw it to your orphan, Roo.

* Throw [Small Paper Zeppelin] to Roo

We have time for one more stop? We heard Dalaran has toy store, but we never get to go there. Orphan mistress says too many orphans would crowd the store. Maybe we can go, just us?

We can have a small paper zeppelin? We think they have those at Wonderworks in Dalaran. We always wanted to play with one. Maybe you throw one to us?

Jepetto Joybuzz and the Clockwork Assistant both sell the [Small Paper Zeppelin] for 1g . Purchase one, summon Roo, target him and use the item. Roo will throw the paper airplane back to complete the quest automatically.

- Quest:Back To The Orphanage (Oracles)

Return your ward to the Dalaran orphanage by handing in the Oracle Orphan Whistle to Orphan Matron Aria by the sculpture in front of the bank.

* [Oracle Orphan Whistle] (provided)

We had the best time with you, . We wish you could be our now, but you have to take us back to Orphan Matron Aria in Dalaran.

Maybe you could come visit us again sometime? We loved meeting Winterfin hatchlings and getting to see the dragon queen. No one will believe us when we say we met a Great One!

We going to miss you, . We promise to write letter sometime, oki?

It sounds like little Roo had a great time this week. I know he was getting awfully lonely in the orphanage and was eager to make some new friends. Thank you so much for agreeing to look after him.

Within a day after completing the quest, Roo sends players some mail: )
