Runescape Guide to Cannoning green dragons

Step One: Supplies

Need to spend money to make money, here's a picture of me after I finished shopping:
Nothing special, just a bunch of range improvement items. Now, you may notice I am wearing a games necklace. I could have chosen to wear my glory, but I prefer the ease of transport you get while wearing it (right clicking on the equip page)
You'll need a cannon and cannonballs, of course. If you can only afford, say, 100 cannonballs, then start from there. You will make profit. I started at 80 a couple days ago.

You'll need food, I chose monkfish, buy a nice little supply of these, even though you probably won't use much.

You need games necklaces, they are wonderful.

The potions you see are super energies, these are optional, and a good option if you have some money to spare.

That's all you really need to take with you each trip. The number of cannonballs is optional, I just chose 1000 to show profitability. Once you get this, right click your games necklace, click "Clan Wars" and you're off.

Also, it should be noted I don't have an anti-fire shield, I forgot to throw it on when the pictures were taken, that's very needed, obviously.

Step 2: Location

I find the ideal spot for a cannon is here:
You have a nice range over most of the dragons, and you can sit here
Or somewhere around there to let your cannon do the work while you rest. Do not fight any dragon. Otherwise your cannon will only fire at it, the only thing you should focus fire is a revenant.

Step 3: Gathering and Banking

I run around collecting hides and bones and runes. I leave mithril armour and coins, however. It doesn't take too long to get a full inventory:

DO NOT PICK UP YOUR CANNON BEFORE YOU BANK

It's a mistake I see many cannoneers make. Instead, fill up your cannon with cannonballs, walk to the spot you see in the picture (or level 20 wilderness) and use your games necklace to go to "Wilderness Volcano". Run up north just a bit and there's a bank, toss in your bones/hide/runes and pull out one potion (if you use them) and 2-3 food and port right back. While you were banking, your cannon was continuing to kill. The first thing you need to do is refill your cannon, THEN grab loot.

These are the drops I picked up just as I had returned, right after I filled u p the cannon:
As you can see, it's a great idea to leave it.

Notes

Always use an even number games necklace when you port to clan wars. If you use an odd, you might forget, and it will turn to dust as you port to clan wars, meaning you have to find a different way out.

If you die, just run back using a games necklace. Death is NOT a big deal, if you die with your cannon out, it will still be there, run back, grab ammo, reload. Treat it just as you would if you just ported back from the bank.

Decay. When you see this:
You need to run over, pick up your cannon and put it back down. That's it.

If you don't you can get a new one from a dwarf above the mining mountain area, just look it up, not that hard.

Profit

Now a lot of people boast they can make 1m an hour doing this, but they always fail to deduct costs. Here's my expenses per 1000 Cannonballs:

Time: 40 minutes.

9 Super energies at 6k each = 54k

2.5 games necklaces at 4k each = 10k

1000 cannonballs at about 400 each = 400k

Total = 464k

Selling items:

That's 367k in about 40 minutes, which is 550k in an hour, it's great money.
