Atlantica Online Mercenary Madness Contest Winner

Ndoors Interactive selected a Grand Prize winner and five runner-ups from the Mercenary Madness competition last month, in which the community was invited to submit ideas for a new mercenary character to be added to the game later this year. Atlantica Online player, Symban, from Macedon, will see his character design brought to life in-game and added to his ranks. In commemoration of Symban's lasting contribution to the game, he will receive original artwork depicting his mercenary, signed by the developers, Atlantica Online merchandise and 10,000 GCoins to be used in-game.

Symban's submission is named Camilla: A Vampire Countess derived by the effects of the Oriharukon device in Bran Castle, she floats through the air, draining life from other players to sustain her existence. Camilla looks every bit the part of a Vampire Countess, with jet black hair contrasted against her snow-white skin and blood-stained lips. Players will be able to learn more about this mercenary as we near its release.

"We hope to bring our players imaginations to life every time they log in," said Peter Kang, CEO, Ndoors. "It feels great to put pen to paper this time, and incorporate our contest winner's creativity into an actual character players can turn around and use in the game. Thank you to all those who submitted designs, we enjoy our creative fan base and look forward to involving the players again."

Wildly compelling designs were also submitted by the five contest runners-up:

* Catnarok from Argos
* Cuttlefish from Argos
* Squat from Argos
* Sellan from Macedon
* Opaj from Mycenae

All five will receive 5,000 Gcoins to utilize on our site. The developers will be incorporating the winning design into Atlantica Online later this year and players can stay updated on her development via the Atlantica forums.

Atlantica Online is a strategic turn-based massively multi-player online game (MMOG) that combines innovative combat with profound character and party development, as well as city and country management. Players take on the physically and mentally demanding quest to destroy the Oriharukon, a powerful energy source from the lost civilization of Atlantis. This dangerous element survived the demise of the "Lost City," and its rampant spread is quickly endangering humanity. The epic journey takes players to some of the most historic and exotic locations around the globe where they will come face-to-face with vicious monsters ripped from history and lore.
