Fear the government would Conduit ( term for superhuman who has the power to absorb the energy that is used to increase the five senses, and other body strength ) after the destruction of Empire City, make them create the Department of Unified Protection ( DUP ) which is distributed in the major cities in America.
InFamous : Second Son takes place in the city of Seattle that has been in quarantine by the DUP . They called Conduit as " bio- terrorist ", the target to be captured and killed.
Players will control the main protagonist named Delsin Rowe, age 25, a street artist who does not have a purpose in life. One day Delsin bus witnessed the accident and tried to help, and that's where Delsin met a Conduit who finally makes Delsin aware that he also has superhuman strength.
Aware he eventually also became the target DUP, Delsin escape and seek out people who have the same power to destroy the DUP.
Delsin Reggie Rowe and Rowe are brother and sister, the sister street artist who likes to break the rules, while the brother is a cop. Reggie tried to keep out of trouble and protect his sister since their parents died. Reggie often detain and release from prison because of him Delsin doodle wall.
Abigail Walker is a Conduit who never harm a good man with power, electric neon. After meeting with Delsin, both of them will choose the path of good or evil (depending on the player).
