How to Get The Wisker From Cerberus In Mythology Island?
In Poptropica, you’ll encounter Hades when you visit his realm to get his help in stopping Zeus from taking over all of Poptropica. Before you can get into Hades’ throne room, you’ll need to finish your quest to find five items. Part of that quest will take you into the underworld realm. One of the tasks will be to get a whisker from Cerberus, who is the guardian of the underworld. Later, Hercules will help you get inside the throne room of Hades, where you will meet him and enlist his help. Hades will give you his crown to help you in your fight against Zeus.
In Greek Mythology, the crown of Hades was very powerful. It was crafted by the Cyclopes, the powerful one-eyed creatures who were born to Gaia and Uranus. Yeah, I said Uranus. Go ahead and snicker. Anyway, the crown (sometimes it’s called a helmet) was used by Perseus to help him defeat the Medusa. You’ll use the crown to help make you powerful enough to face Zeus in the final battle at the top of Mount Olympus.

First you have to get all the sacred items on zueses scroll then go to the tree of imortalaty.when you get there athena will tell you the items are dangerous then Zeus comes down and steels your five sacred items so he can rule poptropica then you go back to where hercules is Hint after Zeus comes you should talk to athena again before going to hercules. Once you get to hercules tell him the the third thing on your list of things to say the take out Aphrodite's mirror then go to hades then go to piosidon and then go to Zeus battle and defeat him to defaet the island.
note: For the hydra you dont play the tune. You jump on their heads when they go to bite you and it knocks the head out. But the head comes up again. The only way to keep them down is to get all the heads down at once and they will stay that way and you click it and you get the scale. Now how do I get the cerberus's whisker?!

Zeus was never known to be a nice guy, and in Poptropica he is definitely determined to get even more power. You’ll first meet him after you find the golden apple on the tree of life, which belongs to him. He stops short of smiting you with a thunderbolt and instead asks you to complete an important quest for him before he will grant you the immortality that the golden apple provides. This begins the first part of Mythology Island, where you try to locate five rare and powerful items for Zeus.

Poptropica is a massively multiplayer online game and virtual world, targeted at children ages 6 to 15, where players can travel, play games, compete in head-to-head competition, and communicate safely with each other. There is a role-playing component as players are encouraged to finish "island missions" and get medallions. Poptropica was developed by the Family Education Network a division of Pearson, which also owns kids’ site FunBrain.com. Poptropica has an Alexa Internet rating of 2,166.Its official launch date was in September 2007. It now has over 75 million registered users and about 35 million of these are in the 15-25 age group.
The new Mythology Island on Poptropica becomes available for everyone to play tomorrow. For the last few weeks, only paid members have been able to play through early access.
Zeus rules over all the other gods upon Mount Olympus. He was the youngest son of Cronus and Rhea, two of the original Titans that ruled before the Gods. But Cronus learned that his youngest son was destined to overthrow him, so he began to swallow his newborn children whole. Rhea did not want her youngest son to be devoured, so she tricked Cronus by giving him a stone wrapped in a baby’s blanket. Thus, Zeus was spared this horrible (and kind of gross) fate. He was taken away to Crete where he was raised by a divine goat named Amaltheia.
Mythology Island and it’s a lot of fun. It’s a pretty long island, kind of like Astro-Knights. There are some really fun parts to this island and some very difficult puzzles to solve. The final battle with Zeus is a lot of fun! Here is the complete video walkthrough for the island. I will post the written version just as soon as I can type it all up! Help for The Hard Parts
Enter the Museum of Olympus (the brown building) and head right until you find the area with the statues. Find Poseidon’s statue and take the pink starfish off of it. Then leave the museum and walk left to the sign labeled “Tree of Immortality.”
Golden Apple - Climb up the large tree until you find a satyr (half-human, half-goat). Because the tree is rather huge, it might take a while to find him, but he’ll be waiting for you. The satyr will tell you that nymphs have stolen his honey and have hidden his honey around the tree. You have 60 seconds to race around the tree and collect 10 pots of honey for him. Once you’ve done that, talk to the satyr again. A new secret path will appear. Climb up on it, and get to the tip of the branch with a golden fruit hanging on it. Pick the fruit off, jump down and grab the “Golden Apple.”
Zeus’s Offer – The god Zeus will descend from a sky of darkness and speak to you. When he leaves, a scroll will appear in the spot where he was just standing. Reach for the “Sacred Items Scroll.” Examine it to find out what you need to collect for Zeus and he will say he will give you immortality. Leave the tree and you will see the goddess Athena. Ask for her help, and she will say look to the olive trees for help.
Pipe Tune - Afterwards, go right (past the Museum of Olympus) to the Grove of Temples and enter the temple of Apollo. Move right and pick up one the reed pipes in there to obtain the item “Reed Pipe.” Then jump up and talk to the statue holding reed pipes. She will teach you a song, but you must prove to her that you are a worthy musician. To do that, she’ll play notes on the reed pipe and you must click on the exact same sequence of notes to imitate her. After that, you’ll learn the “Pipe Tune” skill which will help to later put Cerberus to sleep.
Hydra Battle – Jump off the cliff to the right of the temple, and help clean off the graffiti on Hades’ Temple. Now talk to the kid in front of the temple and he will give you one golden drachma. Go inside the Temple of Poseidon and use the starfish from the museum as an offering. Suddenly the door will open. Go inside and go down the beach. There you will find Aphrodite, who will have you guess the names of assorted gods. When that’s done, she gives you a Teleportation Mirror. Dive into the water and go through the underwater maze. Now there should be a cave in there with a sign outside. Enter it and fight the Hydra. To defeat the Hydra, just wait for it to strike, then jump on its head, knocking out one of its heads. Do this until all of them are knocked out and then click on the Hydra. You will obtain an item for Zeus’s list.
Hercules won’t help you until you have all five items from Zeus’ quest. Once you have the five items, bring them to Athena. Zeus will appear and steal them. The big jerk! Once this happens, talk to Athena and she will tell you that Hercules will help you. You’ll need to have the magic mirror from Aphrodite because Hercules doesn’t want to have to walk. He’s so lazy!
Getting the Hydra Scale
You can see how to do this in the videos, but basically you need to jump up when the Hydra is about to strike. He will rear one of his heads back to attack and his eyes will bulge out. When this happens, jump up in the air and then try to land on top of his head. That head will get knocked out. When all five heads get knocked out, the Hydra will be asleep and you can click on him to get one of the scales.

Go to the Underworld and walk up to Cerberus. Play the notes you see on the card using your reed pipe and the big three-headed dog will fall asleep. Then just click on one of his whiskers to get it.

How to beat mythology island on poptropica
Mythology Island on Poptropica is the game's 12th full island release. The island became available to the public on April 29, 2010. It was first playable to paid members only in the early access program beginning on April 1. This is very similar to the release schedule for Reality TV Island.
The basic story for Mythology Island is that you are a hero who must save Poptropica from Zeus, who has a plot to rule all of Poptropica. Before that plot is revealed, he sends you on a quest to retrieve five special items from all over the island. Once you successfully complete that quest, he then betrays you and steals the items for his own purposes. In the grand finale, you must battle Zeus in his sky kingdom to save all of Poptropica from his sinister plot.

if you want an awesome outfit you can go to nabooti island and get the cell phone, which in addition
to calling vince graves can also be used to call 911 which puts you in a policeman's outfit. also
555-5555 gets you an outfit but I forget which one.
if you don't really want to give your hotdog to Ned Noodlehead that's ok because after you get the
medal you can go back to the hotdog man and he will give you another one.
in the poptropica subway there is mirror writing on the windows but I never bothered to figure out
what they said.
you can ring the bell on Ned Noodlehead's desk and he will get incresingly more annoyed with you until
finally he states that he needs to get rid of the bell and shuts up.
if you are a boy or a girl on superpower island you get sent to different bathrooms. in the girls
there is graffitti that says I love Ponys in the boys it just tells you to wash your hands.
you can costumize yourself to look exactly like one of the super power island criminals, although
I don't know why you'd want to.
if your poptropica character is too hot you can put him/her (this is more appropriate on girls) in
a strapless shirt that shows his/her middriff by costumizing it from that native picking cactus figs.
it looks like a normal shirt on her because she wears a necklace over it but you haven't got to take
the necklace. you can also get it from the boy who wants to move things across the waterfall only
after you help him he is gone.
on time tangeled island you can get on top of the guard tower on the chinese wall (way, way up on
the left-hand side, that ledge that you can see but not jump to) by standing as close to it as you
can wearing the glider, then using the time travel device to go anywhere and while it is still
loading quickly click refresh and a message will ask you if you want to restart the website. tell
it no and your character will floar down from the sky and land way high on the ledge. note, this
might not work on all computers, it works on mine and the library's but not my best friend's, so
don't be surprised if it's a bust.
on super power island you can go to that area by the bank and push those gargoyls off the roof of
the apartment building. if you aim one of them just right it will fall onto the umbrella of the
pretzel guy and take an impressive bounce before shattering on the ground.
to help you escape from Director D's nasty little electric robots you can use your grappling bow
tie, but the suit and glasses don't do squat. also a good way to make him smash his ship in a hurry
is to grapple onto the ceiling and while you swing back and forth he will fly up and hit you. this
is easier than jumping onto his hover type thing. also for getting into his headquarters instead
of running through all those lasers the way they want you to you can just wait for the lasers to
move and then grapple straight up. it's a pretty good shortcut.
on early poptropica if you climb up the vine into the clouds you can fall back down the hole
without climbing down the vine if you line it up just so, but it takes a really long time to get
it right so it might not be worth it to some of you.
when you're climbing up the glacier to play mancala with that man you can get a little help from
this goat on one of those grassy ledges and then you don't have to cross a lot of the ice, but if
you don't aim right you end up flying in all different directions and might end up back at the
beginning.
