One of the best-selling games ever. Finally 12 years later, a sequel is born and will be released in the next couple days (July 27). And the graphics are bad (mo’ fuggin) ass. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, like the first version, is a military science fiction real-time strategy game. It features the return of the three races from the original game: Protoss, Terran, and Zerg.
Besides aesthetic upgrades, the second series is designed to focus more on the multiplayer aspect. The changes include overall improvement in Battle.net, a new competitive ladder system for ranked games and new matchmaking mechanics that’ll pair up players of equal skill levels.
